Ingredients:
- 1/2 kilo ground chuck.
- 1 egg.
- 2 cloves of minced garlic.
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese.
- 1/2 cup rusk.
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion.
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil.
- 1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley.
- 1/4 cup olive oil.
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian spices.
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt.
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper.
Directions:
- In a large bowl, combine ground chuck, eggs, garlic. then add Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, onions, basil. and parsley using clean hands.
- Season with Italian spices, salt, and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into approximately 1-inch meatballs, then arrange on a grill tray.
- Cover and put in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
- When ready, brush the meatballs with vegetable oil, and cook on a preheated grill. over medium heat, covering until fully cooked (about 12 to 15 minutes). Serve with your sauce or over pasta.
Italian Smoked Meat Balls:
Components:
- 1 kg ground chuck.
- 1/4 kilo of ground pork.
- 2 slices of bacon, finely chopped.
- 1 clove of minced garlic.
- 1 12 cups white diced bread without a crust.
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese.
- 1/2 cup chopped onion.
- 1/4 cup milk.
- 2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley.
- 1 tablespoon olive oil.
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt.
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper.
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil.
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano.
- Basil leaves to serve.
- Marinara sauce to serve.
Steps:
- Mix bread and milk in a bowl.
- Remove the milk from the bread and discard the remaining milk.
- Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat and cook bacon, garlic, and onions until bacon is soft and vegetables are tender.
- Add the mixture to the baking pan and let it cool.
- Add the envelope bottom, ground ham, parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, pepper, basil, and oregano.
- Grease your hands with vegetable oil and mix into 1 1/2 inch meatballs.
