- 2 4-ounce packages of crumbled Feta cheese
- 1 cup walnuts (toasted and coarsely chopped)
- 4 Tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
How To make Cranberry Salad appetizer recipe:
- First, layer salad greens with cranberries, cheese, and walnuts in any shallow, festive salad bowl. Alternatively, use a large plate.
- Then, in another bowl, put the vinegar, honey, mustard, and pepper and mix all the ingredients together.
- After that, add the oil with a thin stream to the mixture, whisking constantly the ingredients of the marinade. Make sure to mix everything well.
- Now add the prepared sauce on top of your prepared salad and stir gently.
- This is so easy that you can plan to have it minutes ahead of when you're actually sitting and serving! Enjoy and watch it disappear!
- This recipe makes 8 servings.
What could be easier? However, there is one thing I must point out. It is very important that you do not add the salad dressing until you are ready to serve. It doesn't take long for this salad to begin to wilt, ruining the salad.
Enjoy!
